Molinas Completes Base Year for Willamette National Cemetery Project

                                       

Over 3,000 cubic yards spoils, dirt removed

PORTLAND, Ore. - Today, Molinas Construction Company completed base year of a 5-year contract removing over 3,000 cubic yards of spoils & debris in a 7-week time span. The project was necessary in order to ensure continual and safe operations at Willamette National Cemetery, a United States National Cemetery situated on the hills of SE Portland overlooking the skyline.

The contract's project lead was ex-Army Captain and owner David Molina who secured and operated an 316E CAT excavator, assembled a trucking team and ensured mission completion. All spoils, dirt removed is part of the cemetery's expansion to create more cemetery space for veterans and their spouses to be laid to rest.
